Jason Randall is apparently immortal.  Well, at least he claims so.  And he seems to have recovered from my assassination and his mind feeling is still the same instead of changing like that one woman.

The Bible didn't say anything about monsters during the Plague of Darkness.  I hurt.  But I'll get better soon.  I heal quickly.

There's some sort of skin disease.  They were all full of pus and they popped and now they're leaking fluid.  I don't like doctors because they always cut me up but I don't know how else to get fixed.

I didn't see anything all day.  But my phone still doesn't work.  I don't know how to find Duncan to talk to him.   I don't remember where his office is.  And I can't get any money out of the A T M so I can buy food.  Food is really expensive too now.  Everything is so expensive now.

So many monsters today.  Ace and I had good hunting.  I have my journal in case you need me but I haven't heard anything.   I was careful today to not get hurt like the last time.    The monsters make good practice for shooting because they move instead of staying still like the targets at the range.

I want to get a new phone so you can call me if you need me because I have been checking the journals lots but I can't do it all the time.  Who do I talk to at HQ?

I injured my shoulder fighting a monster, but I bandaged it up as best I could.  I- I don't have to see a doctor, do I?

I kept the fingernails it fired into my shoulder, if you wanted to see them.

5/28 - After a confrontation with some demons last night (thankfully not resulting in any incriminating bodies, although both sides are a little worse for the wear), Four took a 6:00am Greyhound bus from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, arriving ~12 noon.

Edit:  More about the fight-- Luka was trolling around outside bars and stuff late at night looking for some drunk guy to beat up and take his wallet (because she's figured out that's a pretty good way to get money after what happened in Grand Junction).  Turns out the guy who fell for the bait was a demon (most likely not a rak, and if it was a behemoth they didn't shift), and after they were fighting for a while a couple of his friends show up as well, and while Luka is good, she's not good enough to take on 3-4 demons all at once, regardless of the fact that the demons are drunk. (...actually, some of them might have been human, but at least 2 were demons.) She manages to get away with the wallet, but there are injuries all around (although the first demon got the worst of it), so Luka figures it's probably a good idea to skip town before the demon and his friends find her for a rematch.  Besides, it's been almost a week so she should really move on anyway because she's still worried about the Laboratory finding her even if she's not super-paranoid about it the way she was at the beginning.

5/21 - Some thugs made some threatening overtures towards Four.  She retaliated by attacking them and stealing all of their money.

5/22 - Using her newly gotten money Four bought a Greyhound ticket from Grand Junction, CO to Las Vegas, leaving around 6 pm.  The bus ride is approximately 9 hours.

On 5/15 Four made a large withdrawal from the bank.  After being thrown out of the Chicago rail yard she bought an Amtrak ticket to St. Louis.

On 5/16 Four took a Greyhound bus from St. Louis to to Kansas City.  She stayed for a couple of days, bumming around the city.

On 5/18 Four took a Greyhound from Kansas City to Denver, CO.

On 5/19 Four is beginning to run low on money so she hops a freight train from Denver to Grand Junction, CO.  She spends the next couple of days bumming around the city seeing if there are any restaurants that will let her do odd jobs for cash.

Note: Four makes sure not to sleep in the same place twice when she stays in a city, but she usually stays near hobo encampments in parks and near train tracks and the like.
